Here, we fully enjoy the must-see attractions of the Auvergne: from the volcanoes of Puy-de-Dôme to the castles and the wine valleys of Allier.

The best-kept secrets are hidden in our backyard: the Forêt des Colettes, perfect for hiking and mushroom picking. A little further, you’ll discover the Gorges de la Sioule. These gorges, with their spectacular rock formations, are a must-see for adventurers. On the way, you’ll pass by castles, the Roman bridge of Menat, and a monumental viaduct by Gustave Eiffel.

The Via Ferrata is a spectacular climbing route. Less intense but still very enjoyable, the Accro Branche tree-top park is just 5 minutes away. Canoeing, hiking, paragliding, and even swimming in a volcanic crater: here, everything is possible.

The lively towns of Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand are less than an hour away. For services, the train station, and weekly markets, you can head to Bellenaves, just 2 km away. Charroux, visible from the gîte, is one of the most beautiful villages in France.
